Yesterday we had the first snow since I've been in Bham ... well, it was a light dusting when Haley was 6 months, but this is the first time they have ever been able to play in it. It was only half an inch, pretty pitiful, especially with what I grew up with .... but they were thrilled! We stayed out for about 2 1/2 hours (Rob was ofcourse the biggest kid of all) - Sadly, by noon it was already melting ....
On another note, I have exactly 3 weeks until my first race. It's pretty intimidating since I've never done anything like this before ... I was never the athelete of the family ... Love to all - miss you guys more than you realize ... I think all the Bama gang does .... look forward to seeing you at Easter .... maybe it will snow again? Wishful thinking!

Okay - I can't identify the snow angel - wearing a different jacket than Haley and Will in the "snowflake tasting" picture - do we know this person? And I think the snow person is pretty good for just half an inch of snow!
The snow angel is Will, too - we changed clothes about 4 times (to warm up and dry off!) He's also trying to catch the snowflakes with Haley!
As for our little snow girl actually (she was wearing a bonnet), we collected the snow off the trampoline, which seemed to accumulate more there and was easier to roll.
Good luck today moving boxes! I'm taking the kids to see a movie - a mommy date day since they are off school :)
