...to an awesome us. Hope some of the others I haven't heard from are doing better. My goal at weight watchers last week was to do the treadmill or stairs at work at least three times...I did the stairs (3 flights) once. Changed my goal this week to track at least once a day. Hoping that makes me more aware of what I am eating. Our leader keeps reminding us that Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance. That is so true. When I get meals prepared ahead of time and know what I'm eating it helps me to stay on track.
This week I need to get the upstairs cleaned before Melissa and Ellis come for a visit on Thursday. Lucky for me they haven't found new doctors yet so they will have to visit until they do. I plan on trying to set up the front bedroom to do some yoga dvd's I've gotten. Everything I've read say yoga and palates will help with my hip/leg/si issues. Really hope I accomplish one goal this week.
I'm really in need of a mani/pedi so I need to get on the ball.

Kick-off of the Awesome Us Program
I hope everyone has sent their weight and measurements to Chip. I told him to let me know who didn't. We will just officially weigh the first Saturday of the month. It is okay to weigh weekly, but measurements are best once a month. I found multiple people can skype and you can hear eachother, but you can't do the video unless you buy the premium. Cottage cheese and tuna for supper tonight. I haven't been to the store yet.

Calendar updated...yea!!!
Mom please don't feel like you have to wish everyone a happy birthday or happy anniversary on the blog. We all know you love us....facebook wishes will suffice (for those of us on it). I like having the Day Family private group. There are some things you just don't want to share with the world.
The Hatchers arrived in SC yesterday. Their furniture is currently being unloaded. Please pray that they find their cat that got out this morning. Jeff has been out looking for him.

Awesome update
We have a good response for people wanting to be awesome. A couple are speaking the words but the mind hasn't quite convinced the body yet. I won't name names yet because I'm sure Eryn and Cheryl (oops) are totally excited about this. Terri let me know if Deedy wants to join in on the fun and I will add her to the blog. Sherry, let me know about Trish. I think Debbie may have been asking a friend also.
Anna went grocery shopping and bought enough fruits and vegetables for a month even though they will only stay fresh for a week. Remember just because you are eating healthier food doesn't mean it's unlimited. That said from the person who had a salad for lunch (lettuce, chicken and tomatoes) had the croutons held then used Ranch dressing. I'm not ready for vinaigrette yet. And I ate 4 packs of club crackers (the little ones).
Here is a link to a website Better Eats that is also a TV show on ABC on weekend mornings. They take a recipe or even a boxed meal and two chefs have a contest to make it healthier. The family that sent in the request make the two recipes and score them and nutritionist also score them for a winner. I like getting the ideas on how to make a normal meal healthier.
I have changed the New Albany meeting to Saturday at 11:00 New Albany time. This meeting will be at my place. We can change the location around. This is before we go to our weekly pig out Saturday lunch but after Sherry's massage :) If anyone can think of a way we can get a Skype or LiveMeeting set up with multiple participants let me know. I thought we might be able to set up multiple laptops an Skype individually. This may allow you to hear everyone just not see the other people on the other end, unless we can arrange the laptop camera's in a direction.
I'll work on a spreadsheet for Chip and will share when I get it done so you can keep your individual progress. I may even get energetic an make an Access database :) We'll see. I'm not too good at Access but my class next semester is going to be all about it. measurements are due Saturday, January 5th. Use the same scale and measure the same way
every time. Send your weight and
