According to the stats there were 148 views last month, so someone is reading it...they aren't writing on it, but they are looking. There are some things you just don't want to post on facebook for the whole world to see. At least the blog we have somewhat secure. Well, making myself late for work, had to reinstall my antivirus software. I knew the computer was running bad lately and realized it wasn't running at all. Not sure what happened but guess I'll be running a scan today and try to clean it up.

UPDATE

Just wanted to let everyone know that Paul has recovered from his bout of pneumonia/bronchitis. Haven't been writing on the blog, because I didn't think anyone ever looked at it anymore. I did call Jeff on his birthday. Matts' birthday was March 13th . I think Easter is at Beths' this year. Having fun. Weather great, but heard that it's great there too. See everyone Easter.

Are we ignoring it!

I just realized it myself....but Jeff turned 50 and no one said a word!!! Okay, you may have in Indiana, but not on the blog...and I guess Jeff isn't actually on facebook. So by ignoring it can we all pretend that we aren't getting any older.

Sorry I missed it Jeff, I hope it was a good one. I love you! You know I had to put a picture out...could have been worse. They don't make playpens like they use to do they.

Was just looking at the calendar...no Easter and Haley is turning 11....you really trying to get us to ignore a year. That's all I noticed. Guess I could fix them.

How is Paul feeling?

Meg will have a C-section on March 13th if she doesn't have the girls before then. They were both 5 lbs 2 weeks ago.

I'm going to Dallas the last week of April for a conference. Fun, fun. They send 2 and 3 people to all the conferences and I get to go by myself. I may learn some interesting stuff and it will take at least 2 years to get the right people to pay attention and then they will bring in a consultant who says what you have been saying all along and then it's a great idea and why haven't we already done it.

Transmission went out in Anna's car. So I get to spend my bonus on a transmission instead of paying bills and getting me a TV.

BEAUTIFUL PICS

Melissa, just got the pictures and they were darling. I can't believe how big she is. Especially the one in the bassinet at the hospital. Hope she stays good for the both of you for a few months at least until you get use to the idea of motherhood. Thanks again for the pictures. See you in a couple of months. Love Granny

just wanted to give an update, Ellie is doing great. We had jeff's parents in town for a week while jeff went back to work. jeff is off this week to be home with us. we are getting her infant pics done right now and she is doing great, my nerves are pretty crazy right now hoping she stays doing good. think they will turn out great. I havent been as tired as i thought i would be. we gave her her first sponge bath yesterday and have to say mom and dad did pretty well. not much else going on, just trying to take it easy and get use to things.

Thanks for posting the picture again. I'm still not fully understanding the FB. I find something different everytime I get on. I like to read the different comments and I have made some myself, but very few. All the kids are darling. I do mean all of them. Keep them coming. Love the videos too.

Here is her going home picture. I'm sure you all have seen plenty on facebook. Born at 11:56 and weighed 8 pounds. She was 21 inches long. It was a tough delivery with Melissa throwing up with every other contraction (the nurses words not mine). Melissa said it was only a few times, but I know memory during delivery isn't the best. It came down to a few tries with the forceps and if that didn't work, then a c-section. Luckily it worked. Mother and daughter (and dad) are doing great.

We can have some awesome Easter egg hunts again. Maybe those over 30 will finally get a reprieve and not have to hunt. Can't wait to see you all.

What a delightable, beautiful daughter. You did a wonderful job. Just now looked at all the pictures that I found on Facebook,etc. We need a name. Take all the time you can at the hospital and enjoy it as you are going to be very busy when you get home. But, she's worth it. Take care and congratulations again to you and Jeff. Baby Hatcher

Sorry Granny not sure how soon you will be reading about our Jelly Bean. Her due date is Tuesday (5 days), we went to the Dr. today and there is still not any progress, but that's okay. He wants to see us back on Monday to see if there is any progress or change. If there is nothing really happening he said we would schedule something within the week after her due date. I really hope she comes on her own and don't mind waiting a little after her due date. But I sure am ready to meet this little one. Hope you are enjoying the nice beach weather.

I'M BACK

I've ignored the blog for some time now because of the facebook. Still trying to get the hand of it, but dong better. I believe Mike & Delana are going for July 28th. Alana informed me today that she will know something Feb. 2nd. The weather here has been beautiful the last several days, and have started to get a tan. Tomorrow it is suppose to rain, so we are going shopping again. Cooling down this weekend, and then back up to the high 70's. Most of our friends are starting to come in this weekend. Our Heron here brought in a hammerhead shark that we believe he brought up from the beach. It was only about a foot and a half, and he was trying eat it but finally gave up. I got a few pictures of the shark, but not of Harry (the Heron). Hope I will be reading on hear soon on our new arrival.

How is 2012?

Hope everyone is starting the year out great. I'm waiting on my youngest granddaughter. I really want her to hold off so her birthday is farther away from the holidays, but I am quite anxious. When exactly is Alana due? Any dates yet for Mike and Delana's wedding? I have to get my vacation days scheduled...or at least approximate dates so they can do "forcasting". We are going to have to make a last minute decision on Mexico. It all depends on what the IRS does to me. I am without help this year (at least so far). But they've already been putting out proposed changes to forms so I think I am going to be quite busy making updates. Promised to our clients by Oct 31.

I've taken up spin classes at the Y so I'm hoping you all will see a new slimmer me the next time. Really hoping you see me without a limp...the spinning seems to be helping my leg.

HELP

I'm having all kinds of problems right now. I think I figure out how to do something on Facebook, and now I'm having problems on the computer. I tried to print something out and I found out I don't have the bar across the top showing File, and all the other task bars stuff. I always went into File to hit on Print,but I can't now. Have tried everything I know to try, but can't come up with the printer. Any suggestions.
