CRASH!

When it rains, it pours. I was sitting at a stoplight yesterday afternoon and someone didn't remember the old Barney song "green means go, yellow means slow, and red means stop, stop Stop!"
The van will probably be totaled, she crashed me into the car in front of me, so it got both ends. Luckily, I didn't have any kids and I'm okay - just really sore, though everyone's telling me I should go ahead and get things checked out, so might be seeing doctor later.  Menawhile, stuck with no van - waiting to see about insurance getting me a rental.  Then there's the hassle that we weren't exactly planning on getting another van now - you know how we like to run ours into the ground, and though the insurance will probably say that white van wasn't worth much, it was worth a lot more to us not to have a car payment and stuff, we would've gotten 2-3 more years out of it and then bumped it down to a work van. so now, to have to probably get a new one and what insurance will probably give us for the old one it just really stinks!! It sort of makes me understand the whole "sueing" mentality that always ticked me off before - I'm really mad that we're put in this position because of someone else's screw up.  It's just a hassle I didn't need right now.  Oh well, life goes on - luckily!!   see ya all soon.

At least your not hurt. I learned from our wreck in August that dealing with medical claims isn't easy. I know how you feel about the van also. Our cars are paid off and I know I wouldn't want to buy a 6-7 year old car with almost 100k miles (thats my car) which you'd probably still end up having payments on.

Glad you weren't hurt and didn't have the boys or any of their friends with you. Make sure you do get checked out. Your back or neck could give you problems for years to come.

Just think about that "new car smell" that you like and maybe it won't be as bad...Smile
