Stallworth Update :)

We just got back from a FABULOUS trip to Seaside, FL - which is about 25 minutes from Destin. We usually go to Destin every year, but tried something new. We didn't want to come home! We'll probably make at least one more weekend trip this summer. That is the nice thing about Birmingham - the beach is only 4 1/2 hours away :)

I posted some pictures on our website and journaled them - they pretty much tell the story. I had Halloween pics from 2006 on there, so finally something new. There are a LOT, so it may take a few minutes to load. www.thestallworths.com

Other than that, we're enjoying the summer! The kids start swim lessons tomorrow, but really they are already little fish. But, I figure it never hurts to learn more and more about swimming. We go to the pool just about everyday. If you're not at the pool, it's just too hot to be outside! It was 98 degrees today!

I'm still running, but only about 3 miles at a time, 4-5 days a week. My knee has still been bothering me since the race, so I haven't been able to go more distance. Has me bummed, but I actually started yoga, too, for stretching and some PT. Hopefully it will improve and I won't need to go the DR.

What else ... OH - we're getting a dog! Will has wanted one FOREVER. He has about 10 stuffed dogs and will make them bark and treats them as real. I think I'd have a whole zoo in my house if Rob would let me, so really I'm suprised we haven't had one sooner. We'll see what our cats think. We're getting a golden retriever, so they are supposed to be pretty good with animals and people. And our cats have grown up with the little kids, so they are used to the noise and wrestling, etc .... we'll still see ....

Ok, that's it for now! Love and hugs to all!

You will love the Golden if he is anything like my brothers. He had one for 15 years and had to put him down last Jan. and he got a new one last month. He has sent us several pictures and my Mom went to visit her new "granddog" as well. She just love him. His name is Yankee. Reese is doing swimming lessons as well. She will finish her second class on Thursday. She does pretty well and loves being in the water. Love to all, Aunt Cheryl
