I guess since we do talk a lot, but me and Tom are doing fine also. Tom's team ended up in second place in the 8-ball tourny. So no trophy or free trip to Vegas. I'm still trying to figure out why my leg hurts so bad and is numbe. The shot in the SI joint didn't do much. The shot int he hip helped a lot until the pain medication wore off. I still think it is a little better...at least the inner thigh pain is better. But the numbness in the knee is getting worse and now that I'm not thinking about the thigh pain I really notice the lower back pain. Old age sucks.
We had a yardsale this weekend and sold the Mercedes. It was a great car if you know how to work on really old cars and can find a part. Otherwise it was just expensive. I keep forgetting I can park in the garage now...but I'm sure I'll over come that quickly.

Deb, have you seen a nuerosurgeon and have him check your back. You could have something like I had. Right now my left thigh goes numb off and on for anywhere from 15 to 30 minuetes, so I don't know if I have more trouble with my back on the places that they didn't take care of, or if it is something else. It has to be something the matter with you no matter what the doctor says. Hope you can find out something soon that will do you some good. Love ya,Mom
I was thinking back also, When Jeff had his back problems he whole leg would go numb.
The doctor I'm going to now is very persistent in finding the cause. He said if the shot in the hip didn't work I probably have a pinched nerve between the 2-3 vertebrae. I just need to call him and make my follow up appointment and let him know I still have problems.
thats the place that I had taken care of. I had calcium/arthritis building up and it was pressing into the spinal cord. Yours sounds more like the pinched nerve that the Doctor mentioned. Hope you get it taken care of. Sorry also to hear that Tom didn't finish first. But theres always next year. Luv ya
