Mom and Dad are at Black River right now. Been there all week. Getting back tomorrow. Hear it's probably a little more low-key than most years, but hoping they're still able to enjoy it.
So I've had the house to myself all week. I gotta start working on cleaning up after that wild party I had... Hope mom doesn't notice the nativity we broke.
Just kidding about the party. Did see a cockroach in the basement the other day. Totally freaked out, and lost sight of it before I got up the nerve to kill it. So slept upstairs for about two days. But I'm back down in Jim's room among the bugs now. (Been sleeping down there this summer because the bed is bigger and comfier.)
As far as Paul's Best's Disease goes... I know nothing about it. Haven't had that class yet. I hear he has an appointment at Dr. Black's with Dr. Schaal coming up. Is it this week? If so, I'm off that afternoon, so I won't be there. But you can talk about me with the other techs if you want. As long as it's nice. :) Also, just want to warn you to bring a book or something, because you'll be there a while.

Have you heard how many bugs we swallow at night and don't know about it? I hear cockroaches taste a little like chicken.
Thanks for the update.
Laurie, it was so good to see you writing in the blog. Although, we talked to you at lunch today, I just read this now, so I knew most of it. Thanks for the info on taking something to read, which I will do because I heard that the test will take some time. As you know, we will be seeing Dr. Schaal the following week on Tuesday, so maybe we will see you then. The teck's there told me that you were a very good worker. Keep it up.
