Metzger Updates

I've been meaning to write something for a while and send pics and stuff - so finally doingit!Everyone's been really busy - Conner and Cam had tennis at Guerin and Wyatt at OLMC and Cole is playing football. Sad to see Conner play his last match - but we'll always have his senior banner to remember it by - anyone need a 4 foot shrine to Conner?
He's been busy and having fun senior year. Still dating Hanna, they recently flew up to see Michigan play Notre Dame - I'm not a big football person but apparently it was a big game and Conner was excited to go, Hanna's sisters both cheer there so they went up for the big event.

Cam had a great tennis season- played mostly #1 JV, but got into some varsity matches as well. He's now gone straight into basketball conditioning and is hoping to make the JV team - we are hoping the Day "late bloomer" gene doesn't hold him back too much. He's starting to shoot up a bit, though and is working hard to put on some pounds, too. Here's a pic of him with the varsity team when they went up to an invitational in Ft Wayne - Guerin got first I think! Conner is 3rd from right - Cam is last on the right.
.

Wyatt is enjoying 6th grade - played tennis for OLMC and is now getting ready for CYO basketball. Meanwhile he's just having fun hanging out with his buddies - here he is preparing for a sleepover with a 32 ounce Mt. Dew Code Red.
Cole has been doing really well in football (for a Metzger!) He's enjoying it and is usually on the field the whole time - so definitely getting his excercise! His team has a photo blog you can follow on shutterfly. Here is a link to a video that shows him making a catch and going for a touchdown http://olmc3rdgradeblueteam.shutterfly.com/pictures/28 at about the 15:09 mark is where his big play starts, he is #80. (hope this link works!) if you can't get to the site here is at least another photo from a past game (we have some great moms on the sidelines that take all these photos and post them - which is great for moms like me who never take any!!) This is one he had just caught it and got tackled and was looking to see if they called it in or not!

That's about it for us - hope all are doing well! Let's here (and see) the rest of you! Love ya, Terri

there's an issue with the video it's not mom. I watched some of the St Malechei (SP?) game, would see number 80 at the end of the play often, but couldnt' see where he started at. Fun.
