Football ended last weekend with Wyatt's team losing in the city championship final game - so, that makes 2 years in a row they've been runner-up. Maybe next year!
Now it's on to basketball! We have 5 teams between them all (6 if you count the one Todd is coaching that none of our boys are even on!) so our schedules will be crazy as usual. But CYO hasn't started games yet, so for now it is just league play for "fieldhouse" teams that Cole and Wyatt are on. Wyatt will play CYO, too - but Cole is too young - so the fieldhouse team will be his only one. But he was so excited to have a team with his friends and to finally get to play - he crawled into bed with me this morning all dressed in his uniform and said "This is the best day of my life"!
A friend was videotaping the game and I got a copy from her - here is a clip of Cole, he made the first basket of the game and they went on to win 24-0. It may be their only win - all the other teams besides the one they played today are 2nd grade, so we'll see how it goes. I've also got photos to go through from halloween/football and stuff that I'll put on the blog soon. Trying to get better at all this - hope all are well and we're looking forward to Christmas with you all!

Isn't it fun watching them play. I know how crazy it gets at the Stallworths with soccer and gymnastics, I can't imagine having 4 of them playing. You have to have a lot of overlap. I missed Will's soccer game Saturday because I was at Haleys. But I've seen Will play more and he has more games left than Haley. But I love watching them learn to play together and better each year. I love the fact that Wyatt plays football. I've always liked football better than basketball. Maybe they will win the city championship next year.
Terri, that was a cute video. I guess that lst basket made was Cole. It looked like it went in real good. You did good. Still need xmas ideas. Wyatt is doing great playing football. I was always afraid of it. Jeff played for awhile, and I think maybe Mike might have. Memory is going. Luv to all.
