Not much going on here. Taking care of the kids puppies (they're huge). They are at their house so they spend the day outside. They have the electric underground fence so they have a huge yard to run in. The kids called from Key West today which will be the last I can get a call from them until probably Friday. I hope the Disney Island has cell towers. But they are having fun.
It was very good to see the family on the blog again. Mike, do I want to know who Kim is? And are we going to be able to get you to do the Mercedes with us? I went 6 miles today but ended up walking the last three. I really needed a potty break but Heather said I had to do 6 miles. I managed to do it in 1 hr 40 mins so I know I can cut that down by the time we do the Vulcan run in 2 weeks. I just hope my knees and hips hold out. I put some ice on my knees when I got home, but Tom asked me to go out shopping with him (which he never goes to the mall on a day off unless he really needs something) so I walked the mall shortly after doing the 6. My legs hurt. Melissa is already running better than me. But I think she actually runs 4-5 days a week and I just think about it.
I go out to facebook to catch up what I can but I don't really know how to use it so I just read the few comments. Laura I agree that Joe the Plumber should be president. Jim, I just watched your Beach Volleyball video....thank you for not wearing speedo's. Make sure you post pictures from when your parents visit. Conner, I to now know a song that gets on everybody's nerves.
Cheryl, what is Reese going to be for Halloween? Try to post some pictures...that goes for anyone else that dresses up for it also.

Reese has several options for Halloween. I have recently gotten into tutus (for her) so I have purchased a couple on ebay. A floral forrest witch which is a tutu dress which ties around the neck in black & orange with a hat. They both have fall flowers on them. The other is a black tutu with white ghosts on it.
I had already bought her a princess fairy in pink and green at Cracker Barrell but think I will take it back after finding the others.
I have also bought tulle in white and two shades of purple to make a dress or skirt for her.
Who knows what she will actually wear out to trick-or-treat. I guess it depends on the weather. We are going to a chili dinner at a friends before going out and then to another party at one of the neighbors after trick-or-treating.
On the 24th I'm going to take her to the YMCA for a party they are having for members children.
I want to have her picture taken but I will have to see which outfit looks best on her and if we have time.
What are the kids going as? Are you into making their costumes? I think the tutu's will be easy to make but it's hard to find all the colors you want in spools at a reasonable price.
Hi to all. Love ya.
Luckily Heather buys the costumes. Last couple of years they've been a Disney character, Tinkerbell and Peter Pan last year. This year they got their costumes from Target. Darth Vadar and Princess Lia (not sure how that is spelled) Nothing like a flashback to the 70's. It's already changed once so I won't be surprised if they are something else altogher. They still love to play dress up, so at least the costumes get used.
Kim didn't last too long. Very cute and interesting, but too far away. And I think I'll plan on the Mercedes if I don't have anything else that weekend (school or Charly's pre-wedding stuff). It's Feb 15? I'll start checking it out. I'm proud of the Bama crew and need to support you guys.
