By now I know you all have heard of our mourning for Lexie and the struggles of Jake to overcome his injuries. For Granny Pat and GramPaul: I know you called and got an update from Tom yesterday. Here are a couple of post from last night
Prayers for Jake In case you didn't hear yet, JAKE IS EATING! Rob is up there now with him and he ate half a cup of kibble! this is HUGE and another major prayer answered! And look at this sweet boy with his tennis ball - his daddy and his tennis ball - this boy is HAPPY!!
Prayers for Jake Got home a few minutes ago from seeing Jake. Sunday night, I wasnt sure he would make it through the night, and tonight he was a happy as he always is with a giant smile on his face. Poor guy is probably missing half his teeth, but he managed to eat a little for the first time, and hold a tennis ball in his mouth. I... could tell the tennis ball was a little uncomfortable because he couldnt hold onto it for too long, but Jake's favorite toy has always been a tennis ball, so I could tell it made him happy. Jake sees the neuro surgeon tomorrow, so I am praying for good news, but I have a peace about it. So many thanks for all the prayers.

Gotta start working. Will has a Thanksgiving program today so I need to do some work before I go to it.
