Finally!

I've been keeping up with posts, but couldn't figure out why I couldn't write a post of my own. But, I realized I was signed in under my work email, not personal ...

Staying busy, but not necessarily exciting. Haley and Will are both still in gymnastics. Haley made pre-team, which have practices for 2 1/2 hrs at a time. For an 8 yr old, that's tough! But, she enjoys it. I think she has decided to take a break so she can do her other love - soccer. She especially loves being a goal keeper - I think it's the fearlessness that helps her more than just talent - she's not afraid of diving in front of flying soccer balls - though I get a little squeamish.

We're all running in the Mercedes races next week. Rob is doing a 5K, Haley and Will are both running in the Kid's Mercedes (1 miles), and I'll be doing the half marathon again. I don't think my time will be under 2 hours this time - even though my training has been consistent, I don't seem to have the energy this year. Oh well - just glad to do it regardless of my time.

I'm having flashbacks of my high school days - I'm doing yearbook for the school this year.

Hmm .. what else. We went to the mountains in NC last weekend and almost got snowed in! It snowed about 10-12 inches while we were there. Nothing to y'all up north, but my poor kids haven't seen snow but once! We had a great time.

Headed over to a friend's to watch at least part of the Super Bowl - Go Colts!

Love you ALL - can't wait to see you for Easter (anyone doing the Papa john's 10 miler?) and at the wedding!! If anyone needs some warm weather in between, we have plenty of room to visit, especially between mom and my house.

I plan on doing Papa John's, maybe the triple crown. I already miss not being there for the Mercedes. But, I have the Snowman's shuffle on Saturday, only 4 miles. It's the last race of the Polar Bear Freeze. Hopefully it won't be freezing. The first two races were actually nice. I'm hoping to get down there soon. SOmething keeps coming up. I just need to look at a calendar and say this is when I'm going down. Watching the Who is making me feel really old. I love their music, but there is a difference.

Good to hear from you Heather. Barbie's mention of the WHO I presume was from the half time show and I don't know or even remember hearing of them. In fact I thought they were awful. But the paper is really talking them up down here. Be good to see you all again at Easter, etc. Of course we are still planning on stopping at your Mom's on the way back to Louisville on March 22nd. See you then, Luv to all Tell the kids to keep up the good work on the sports.
