I have had enough this week :(

My week has been crazy. Started back to school at UAB. It really sucks and I don't like the school. Today has drawn the line though. I went to my literature class to find out the bookstore told me to buy the wrong books. So I had to go back to the bookstore to just exchange it but they would not let me because I didn't have the receipt so I had to buy my correct book. I was so mad. Then to top it off on my way home and big o truck backs up into my car. The tears we flowing by then. The front of my car is messed up. The hood it bent up and my left head light is pushed in. Now I have to deal with the hassel of getting it fixed and taken care of. Is this week over yet. I least I have Saturday to look forward to. Mom, Heather, and I are going to eat at The Melting Pot and then headed to Sips n Strokes. Its are girls night out to celebrate my birthday. Hope everyone is having a better week then I am. Love to all.

MELIS, so sorry to hear about your awful week so far. Hope the rest of it turns out o.k. Are you sure you have looked everywhere for your receipt. I hold on to mind for a long time. You never can tell when you might need them. I'm hoping that the truck driver's insurance will take care of your car. Of course it will take some time to fix, and hopefully your insurance will let you rent a car while its getting repaired. Like you said Saturday will be a day to celebrate your birthday, even if it is a little early. Have a great time, we love you and miss you. Granny Pat

Hey Mel,
The colleges really get you on the books. I've started to be careful about buying mine ahead of time. It kills me when you get in to a class and the teacher never uses the book or requires you to read it. anymore they have powerpoint slides with what they are going to test you on that you can download. Of course when you wait you risk not getting a used book. but then, you also need to check to see if its going to be the last time they use the book, then they don't buy them back at all. sometimes you can search the internet for school books.

sorry to hear about your car. i have been wanting to get a new car forever but I want to get totally out of debt - except the house - first. it's a bum when life forces you to make decisions that you aren't quite ready to make. but they are there for a reason.
