Arrivederci Italy

Well my year in Italy is officially over, my last day of work was Friday and I flew up to Munich this afternoon. I did a little exploring by foot this evening, and I'm writing this now in my hotel room. Tomorrow is a free day to see the city, and then I finally get to take delivery of my car on Tuesday, though due to schedule constraints I'll have to give it right back for shipment that same day. Wednesday I fly back to Rome (via Vienna, Austria) so I can catch a flight on Thursday to St. Louis (via Newark, NJ), then finally back to New Albany Friday morning. Whew... I promise I'll try my best to stay awake during the wedding.

I'm really excited about most of it, but all the trains and planes and subways and foreign languages is a little stressful - I'm more than ready to be back in the good old USA. I should have some free time and internet access Wednesday night, I'll try to post a few pictures then. Until then, I hope everyone has a good week, and I'm looking forward to seeing you all on Friday.
