But we made it. Heather at 1:57:20, Melissa around 2:50, then I came in at 3:05:42. I'm hoping to get enough training in to do the Papa John 10 mile at a 13:30 pace, this was a 14:10. I was around a 13 minute pace up to mile 6, then my hips gave out. I was in major pain yesterday, doing better today, but will be slow moving for a couple days.
Haley is planning on doing the Anthem 5k with us in Lousiville the day after Charly and Ryan's wedding. So do we have any other takers. I hear some of the wedding party is doing it...they'll probably still be up from the reception. I'm sure Haley will do much better than me, but I'm getting better at 3 miles.
Can't wait to see everyone in a few weeks.

It's official now. I was at a 13:04 pace at 6.2 mile marker then ended with 14:11. That's what I get for not taking the joint meds. Melissa ended up with 2:48:53. A 12:15 pace at the half and 12:54 at the end. You can tell Heather trains like you are supposed to for the distance. She had a 8:43 pace at the half and ended with 8:58. Not bad. I'm proud of my girls...and glad they aren't waiting until they turn 50 to do something like this.
