The earthquake (or Alan??) woke me - and something on my dresser was rattling quite a bit. Things really did shake! The low rumble was undeniably something maybe not quite "earth-shattering" but more a gentle vibration. They're saying it was 5.2 on the scale. The freaky thing for me was that a library patron last night said there would be an earthquake. There's always been the caution that we lived on a fault and there would be one some day, but you just kind of "pooh-poohed" it away. Unbelievable to me that Christian made that statement last night... He has made other predictions and is pretty much preparing for Armageddon, so we listen to him and nod our heads (although I respect him in many ways - he is not a sensationalist, just a firm believer...and oh, yeah, he always says I am an angel...)but again, really freaky!)
I was slightly awake when it happened. I didn't feel any movement, but we had a lot of rattle from the wall hangings in the bedroom. There was another afterquake around ll/14 a.m. which I didn't notice, but Paul was outside and he and a neighbor felt it a little.

My phone did fall off my nightstand this morning. But it was because my phone was still on vibrate when Alex called me this morning.
I slept through the earthquake, which I'm fairly disappointed about.
Didn't we have another earthquake maybe ten years ago?
