New breath to old blog

I have deleted old email addresses and added new ones.  I think I have sent out invites to everyone with the correct email addresses.  I guess I'll know at some point.

A.    Chip will be the record keeper so we don’t have to publicize actuals just results….up 1% down 2%.....down is good, up is bad.

B.    We will use BMI calculated by weight and measurements for your waist, wrist, hips and forearm.  Enter the info at this website  http://www.bmi-calculator.net/body-fat-calculator/   You lose weight, lose inches and you have lost body fat J

C.    Weigh-in will be Saturday mornings by noon.  First measurements are due Saturday, January 5^th.  Use the same scale and measure the same way every time.  Send your weight and measurements to Chip.  Everyone is on their honor.

D.    No meetings as we can’t Skype in groups without a premium Skype account.  We will use the Day Family Blog at http://dayfamily2008.blogspot.com/  to post encouragements and share successes and recipes.  We can also use the Facebook Day Group but Sherry and Rachel do not have a Facebook account so let’s limit this.

E.    3 month prize will be free mani/pedi.....we will do a girls day in New Albany (or maybe Indy, but this is around Laura's wedding, so maybe we can work something out with us all being together around this time....otherwise we may have to do a gift card)  estimated value is $50 (pretty nails price with tip)...so about $10 or less per person for a loved family member or friend......(note:  those just doing this for fun may join in on the outing but aren’t fiscally responsible)

F.    Grand Prize:  Girls weekend getaway.  Details TBD.

fyi....

According to the stats there were 148 views last month, so someone is reading it...they aren't writing on it, but they are looking. There are some things you just don't want to post on facebook for the whole world to see. At least the blog we have somewhat secure. Well, making myself late for work, had to reinstall my antivirus software. I knew the computer was running bad lately and realized it wasn't running at all. Not sure what happened but guess I'll be running a scan today and try to clean it up.

UPDATE

Just wanted to let everyone know that Paul has recovered from his bout of pneumonia/bronchitis. Haven't been writing on the blog, because I didn't think anyone ever looked at it anymore. I did call Jeff on his birthday. Matts' birthday was March 13th . I think Easter is at Beths' this year. Having fun. Weather great, but heard that it's great there too. See everyone Easter.

Are we ignoring it!

I just realized it myself....but Jeff turned 50 and no one said a word!!! Okay, you may have in Indiana, but not on the blog...and I guess Jeff isn't actually on facebook. So by ignoring it can we all pretend that we aren't getting any older.

Sorry I missed it Jeff, I hope it was a good one. I love you! You know I had to put a picture out...could have been worse. They don't make playpens like they use to do they.

Was just looking at the calendar...no Easter and Haley is turning 11....you really trying to get us to ignore a year. That's all I noticed. Guess I could fix them.

How is Paul feeling?

Meg will have a C-section on March 13th if she doesn't have the girls before then. They were both 5 lbs 2 weeks ago.

I'm going to Dallas the last week of April for a conference. Fun, fun. They send 2 and 3 people to all the conferences and I get to go by myself. I may learn some interesting stuff and it will take at least 2 years to get the right people to pay attention and then they will bring in a consultant who says what you have been saying all along and then it's a great idea and why haven't we already done it.

Transmission went out in Anna's car. So I get to spend my bonus on a transmission instead of paying bills and getting me a TV.
